Ecosoft scientific-research center deals with the water treatment and purifying systems development. The question of water quality is essential for Ecosoft researches. That is why our specialists do all their best while inventing new technologies, testing materials and processes. The result of water analysis and materials for its purification guarantees appropriate choice of water cleanup system and its further exploitation.
LABORATORY WORK
Innovative solutions of Ecosoft scientific-research center are often created in cooperation with ion-exchange an adsorption laboratory, which is a part of NTUU KPI chemical-engineering faculty. The work here is focused on development of innovative methods and technologies. In 1997 Laboratory got the accreditation by Derzhpotrebstandart, in 2007 it was certified for the ability to test water and materials for water treatment by Ukrmeterteststandart.
LEARNING IS THE EYE OF THE MIND
Water treatment is also a great field for NTUU KPI chemical-engineering faculty students to improve their knowledge. Hundreds of graduates work on their graduation projects using pilot equipment of the center. The results of students’ researches are often published in national and foreign magazines about science and technology. Also, materials from different projects participate in international seminars and conferences.

Students’ research materials are highly appreciated and take part in Ecosoft production. Moreover, after successful industrial experiments innovative technologies are imbedded on Ukrainian leading industrial enterprises. For most hardworking students of profile qualifications employment in Ecosoft research center often becomes the first step in their successful career.
ARMED WITH INNOVATIVE EQUIPMENT
Water purification is a field that needs professional handling. Our specialists work with recent analytical methods such as Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy, stereomicroscopy, scanning electron microscopy, IR spectroscopy methods (DRIFT, ATR). We use only innovative equipment such as Perkin Elmer, Shimadzu, Dionex, Leica Microsystems etc.
INTERNATIONAL TRUST
Worldwide known manufacturer of ion-exchange resins and membranes for water purification Dow Chemical and Ecosoft are bounded with a long-term business partnership. Therefore, in 2008 a learning center Innovative technologies and materials for water treatment by Dow was opened. This center works on the basis provided by NTUU KPI chemical-engineering department. Nowadays it serves as a place for the science-research center seminars and for students practice classes on the faculty.
