Protecting consumers
From 1992 Ecosoft is a well-known company to foreign and national water treatment specialists. Lately, we began to receive information about Ecosoft equipment and materials fraud cases from cheated consumers. Thereby we ask our current and future (possible) partners and clients to protect the safety of Ecosoft consumers and intellectual property of the company.
About falsification cases
The most common way of product falsification is the usage of Ecosoft unique nomenclature range for different products. In the past few years Internet and retail trade filled with equipment that is not Ecosoft product, but marked as Ecosoft registered nomenclature positions. For example falsificated products can be named FK, FP, FPC, FPB, FPA, MO, but original products should be named fully, such as Ecosoft FK, Ecosoft FP, Ecosoft FPC, Ecosoft FPB, Ecosoft FPA, Ecosoft MO. Fraud systems consist of low-quality materials and details. Particularly, control valves of other manufacturers is used in such equipment, that causes wrong operation. In reverse osmosis fake systems unoriginal membrane elements are used. They don’t provide proper capacity and quality of purified water.
Unfair competitors also turned their attention to the Ecomix unique purifying technology. We fixed few cases of Ecomix filter media reproduction on the territory of Ukraine. Though in 2010 Ecosoft received information about such cases from the consumers, who purchased false product. Expertise fixed that all fraud products are not only ineffective but also harmful for health. Ecosoft recommends to check Ecomix product originality and to avoid purchasing «analog» products of the suspected distributors.
Fake threat
Fake equipment disappoints consumer expectations. It concedes to the quality of original Ecosoft equipment almost in all characteristics. Wrong projected systems can firstly clear water and then enrich it with previously cumulated harmful contaminants. Materials that fake product consists of can be harmful for health.
Production that visually is similar to the Ecosoft systems doesn’t have service support that consumers get purchasing original equipment. Falsificates aren’t subjects (items) of warranty and after-sale service. Our specialists do not consult consumers about fake product and we do not provide original components for it.

Company ownership
Nowadays Ecosoft owns more than 10 patent inventions and useful models. Special attention is dedicated to Ecomix filter media, invented by Ecosoft, and all technologies based on Ecomix. Ecosoft is the only company that manufactures Ecomix filter media and the only owner of Ecomix trade mark.
Ecosoft water purifying systems are manufactured in accordance with registered conditions (clauses) of Ukraine. Quality of Ecosoft equipment is certified with international quality management system standard ISO 9001. Our company guarantees high level of equipment operation and original units and materials for filter systems.
Legislative information
Fake products realization cheats consumers and is also an act of unfair competition. Normative base for such cases is provided by Ukrainian laws «About protection from unfair competition», «About protection of economic competition», «About Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine», 42 article of Ukrainian constitution, Paris convention 10bis article about protection of industrial ownership from 1883.
